What is a HUD Share Code?

Starting from the OB50 update, Free Fire lets you share your entire HUD layout as a short alphanumeric code. Each code encodes the exact position, size, and layout of every button — fire, joystick, skills, scope, and more.

A HUD code is unique to each layout. Even moving one button by a pixel generates a different code. That means copying a creator’s code gives you their exact layout — nothing approximated.

Introduction

Since the OB50 update, Free Fire lets you share your entire HUD layout as a short alphanumeric code. Every button — fire, joystick, jump, crouch, skill slots, scope toggle — can be positioned and sized exactly as you want, then shared instantly. The Creators Custom HUD tool compiles verified HUD codes from 10 top Free Fire creators including pro players, esports competitors, and popular YouTubers.

Using a creator’s HUD code gives you button positions optimised for their specific finger count and playstyle. A 4-finger claw player places buttons very differently from a 2-finger thumb player. Trying the layout of a creator who plays similarly to how you want to play is one of the fastest ways to find a comfortable setup.

How to Use
1
Filter by Finger Count or Type
Use the filter buttons — All, 4 Finger, 3 Finger, 2 Finger, Pro Players, YouTubers — to narrow down to creators relevant to your skill level. Beginners usually start with 2-Finger or 3-Finger layouts.
2
Choose a Creator
Read the creator card. Check their finger count, playstyle tags, and region. Choose someone whose style you want to emulate — Rush, Competitive, Balanced, or Beginner-Friendly.
3
Copy the HUD Code
Tap the Copy button next to the HUD share code on the creator’s card. The code is copied to your clipboard.
4
Open Free Fire HUD Settings
Launch Free Fire → Settings → Controls → In Match → tap the HUD share icon (near the top right of the HUD editor) → select Use Share Code.
5
Paste and Apply
Paste the copied code into the share code input field → tap Apply. Your HUD rearranges instantly to match the creator’s layout.
6
Fine-Tune from There
The creator’s layout is a starting point. Once applied, drag buttons to better suit your hand size and grip. Small adjustments to button positions can make a big difference in comfort over long sessions.
FAQs
A HUD share code is a short alphanumeric string that encodes the complete layout of your in-game HUD — every button’s size, position, and configuration. Pasting a code instantly applies that exact layout without manual setup.
Yes. HUD share codes work on any Android or iOS device running a compatible version of Free Fire. However, the layout may feel different on a phone with a significantly different screen size — a layout designed on a 6.7-inch screen may need minor adjustments on a 5.5-inch screen.
2-finger uses both thumbs and is where most beginners start. 3-finger adds one index finger for faster shooting while moving. 4-finger claw allows simultaneous movement, shooting, jumping, and crouching — used by most advanced and pro players. Start with 2 or 3 fingers and move to 4 when comfortable.
Yes. In the HUD editor there is a Reset to Default button that restores your original layout. Alternatively, apply a different share code at any time. Your previous layout is not saved automatically — if you want to keep it, copy your existing code before applying a new one.
The codes are compiled from publicly available creator content including videos and stream clips. Some creators update their HUD regularly and the code shown may not reflect their most current setup. Use the code as a strong starting point.
Using the right layout can make controls feel more natural and reduce errors. A 4-finger layout can expose you to more simultaneous input possibilities. However, the layout alone does not replace practice — spend time in training rooms to build muscle memory with any new layout before playing ranked.
Open Free Fire → Settings → Controls → In Match → tap the HUD share icon → select Copy Code. Your current layout code is copied to your clipboard and you can share it with anyone.
